QUESTIONING TRUMP “MENTAL HEALTH” OVER 47-POST TRUTH SOCIAL MELTDOWN

Conservative lawyer George Conway expressed concerns about Donald Trump’s mental health after Trump’s social media storm—47 posts about E. Jean Carroll, who had previously won a lawsuit against him. Conway questioned the lack of a national discussion on Trump’s mental health and highlighted the interconnection of Trump’s criminality, authoritarianism, narcissism, and psychopathy.

Trump, responding to a rejected defamation lawsuit, made numerous posts on Truth Social, claiming ignorance about Carroll and attacking her credibility. This came after the court denied Trump’s attempt to delay Carroll’s second defamation trial.

The Truth Social outburst coincided with legal developments, as the U.S. Court of Appeals rejected Trump’s bid to delay Carroll’s trial, set to begin in two weeks. Conway, in 2020, had informally diagnosed Trump with narcissistic personality disorder, a view contested by psychiatrist Allen Frances, who cautioned against labeling Trump’s behavior as mental illness.
